Submission Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of this exciting collaborative project between UCLA-NARLA and Simone and Elvis. It is our sincere belief that stem cell research represents an historic milestone in our ability to treat and, eventually, cure many of the diseases that today devastate humanity and we are extremely grateful for the opportunity to add our voices to this important topic.

The two candidates selected as the voices of Simone and Elvis will be involved in a variety of projects, all of which will have a high media visibility factor. The first of these is the voicing of a brochure titled, The Promise of Stem Cell Research that will appear on this web site as well as being widely disseminated to promote awareness of stem cell research.

Please review the following information carefully before submitting your material for consideration.

On the home page of this web site, www.simoneandelvis.com, just beneath the book cover you will find several links.

Please make sure you are familiar with the flash presentation (Sneak Peek) introducing the characters from the book. You should also read the two on-line stories (Read a Story) to further familiarize yourself with the main characters.

When possible, please submit your entire package electronically and include your:

  • resume
  • photo
  • MP3 or other audio clip (read for the part of Simone or Elvis from the on-line brochure, The Promise of Stem Cell Research)
  • A short explanation why you are the best choice for the character and your position on stem cell research

E-mail to: Simone@simoneandelvis.com

Those submitting their package via mail can send the same material requested above to:

Sandes Publishing

1100 Dexter Avenue North, Suite 100

Final selections will be announced in mid 2007.

Thanks again for your interest and we look forward to receiving your submission.
